Seamaster 8 Meter

The Seamaster 8 Metre was first built in 1970 and last built in 1980. In this period a 115 boats were constructed. Breaking with convention this craft has an aft cabin which accommodates the main living area. Accommodation consists of 2 cabins, the forward cabin has 2 single berths in the bow and aft of this is a toilet compartment and large wardrobe. The aft cabin has a dinette area that converts to a double berth and a galley. The centre cockpit is fitted with helm seats. The hull shape is shallow to medium V with a shallow keel, this makes the craft suitable for inland or coastal cruising. Engine installations were inboard and powered by Ford petrol engines or Perkins 4107 or 4108 diesels or Thornycroft/BMC diesels.
