The centre saloon cabin is very spacious offering a dinette area which converts to a double berth with re-upholstered cushions. The galley is fitted with Flavel “Vanessa” cooker, work-top with sink, H/C water supplied via calorifier, with ample storage cupboards.
Both cabins have beautiful original varnished wooden ceilings which give the boat real charm.
The central saloon leads to the aft cockpit area via a windowed door and also has bi-folding doors so on fine weather days with the aft canopy down offers the opportunity to make the saloon area feel even more spacious and bring the outdoors in. The cockpit offers a helm and mates stool and has plenty of space offers the opportunity to add further seating and storage.
The Forward-cabin offers twin v-berth bunks witch convert to a double, vanity sink and hanging wardrobe space, a separate toilet compartment fitted with sea-toilet .
Please note that the forward cabin and toilet would benefit from further updating and restoration work.
Much refurbishment has been carried out including new mahogany all-round upper-strake, re-sheathed saloon top, repainted hull and tops, re-varnished throughout. New summer-canopies, and re-upholstered saloon bunk & seat cushions. Well-fitted cockpit with twin fold-down seats for pilot & navigator (ex-Port of London-tug), full instrumentation, chromed original wheel & fittings, including ship’s bell and owner-fitted period Negretti & Zambra weather-station with 8-day clock. The craft is in very original condition and all the refurbishments carried out to date have been done sympathetically. The craft is in good running order and offer the opportunity for further restoration and maintenance. The boat is full of classic vintage charm and potential.
Works required include re-sheathing of forward cabin roof and window work.
The boat was lifted winter 2020 and launched in may 2021.
The craft is sold with a spare engine and manifold.
Note that when starting the engine from cold it requires self priming.
The sea toilet is currently fitted to a holding tank.
The engine has been maintained as required by the current owner.
