Fairline 29 Mirage Mk1 & 11

This very popular 5 berth cruiser designed by John Bennett was built from 1975 to 1987. Fairline produced over 500 of these craft. The accommodation comprises of a forward cabin with 2 single berths, mid ship in the saloon is a dinette area which converts to a double, opposite is a settee which is the 5 berth, the later Mk2 model offered an extra berth in the form of a bunk over the settee. The toilet compartment is of ample size and there is a compact galley. The roomy cockpit has bench seating across the stern which converts to a double sunbed and twin helmsman seats.
Fitted with various size inboard Volvo penta engines both petrol and diesel, single and twin installations with the Volvo penta outdrive, the latter models where fitted with BMW engines and outdrives. The craft was designed with a deep V planning hull. The craft is suitable for river and sea work.
