Freeman 26

The Freeman 26 is similar in style to the 22 MK11 Freeman model with rounded superstructure lines and a step in the deck. The craft appears to be a stretched version of the Freeman 22MK11 giving a more spacious interior and larger cockpit. Over 300 boats were built between 1965 to 1973. The layout is typically open plan with 4 berths. The hull shape is medium V with a long shallow keel. Designed primarily as a river cruiser it is capable of handling in estuaries and sheltered coastal waters. Engine installations were typically Ford watermota petrols on shafts or Perkins 4107 diesels.
