The Ocean 30 was built from 1967 to 1980, over a 100 of these classic cruisers were built.
These were fitted out by various boat builders and most of these can be found on rivers, although this round bilge long keeled discplayment boat is also capable of seagoing.

Each boat figures one of three accomadtion layouts. Some have just 4 berths, tow seperate seperate cabins, forward and dinette which converts to a double berth, wioth a large aft cockpit.
Some are fitted with additional single or double berthed aft cabins.
The helm position is basicially open, though some boats have been fitted with hardtops.
The e gine configuration is inbours single or twin Mercedes or Perkins diesel on a conventional drive, diving top speed of approximatley 9-11 knots
